TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using Attire For Hire Designer Hire. By purchasing or hiring any product from this site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers must immediately notify Attire For Hire Designer Hire with photos if any damage occurs to a hired garment during the hire period.
Customers must take reasonable care to prevent stains, including from perfume, fake tan, drinks or makeup.
Garments are for the customer’s personal use only and must remain in their possession for the full hire period.
No alterations or modifications may be made to any hired garment.
If using fake tan, it must be applied at least two days prior to the event to reduce the risk of staining.
All garments must be returned in the prepaid express satchel provided, and lodged at Australia Post before 5pm on the final day of the hire period. For pick up and drop off customers, garments must be placed inside the Attire For Hire drop box at the store before the hire period ends.
Late Fees
Attire For Hire Designer Hire enforces a strict late fee policy to ensure garments are available for future bookings.
If your hire ends on a weekend, your return must be lodged by 5pm the next business day.
Tracking numbers are recorded for all return satchels. If you fail to lodge your return correctly and the parcel cannot be tracked, you are responsible for any recovery or replacement costs.
Weekday hires must be posted or dropped back by 5pm the following day.
A late fee of $30 per day applies for each day a garment is overdue. The card on file will be automatically charged. Failure to return a garment or pay late fees is a breach of these Terms and Conditions. Attire For Hire Designer Hire reserves the right to charge the card on file, pursue payment, or refer the matter to a debt collection agency. Recovery fees will be added to the customer’s account.
Attire For Hire reserves the right to contact your workplace, family or emergency contacts, along with the right to notify local police or attend your listed address regarding unreturned orders.
Late fees are capped at two weeks or the full RRP, whichever is greater. After two weeks, the card on file will be charged the remaining balance.
Refunds
All hire fees are non refundable. Attire For Hire does not offer refunds for change of mind, illness, event cancellations, incorrect sizing, signs of general wear at AFH discretion, or for any failure to follow our terms and conditions.
If you need to cancel your hire and wish to apply for special consideration, this must be done at least 14 days before your event date. In limited circumstances such as illness or event cancellation, a credit note may be offered at our discretion.
No credit notes will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the booking date.
If your hire arrives and the fit is unsuitable, you must contact us within 3 hours of receiving the garment or bag and return it immediately. A credit note may be offered at our discretion.
Hire credits can be used for future garment hires only. They cannot be redeemed for retail purchases or makeup and hair services. Credit notes expire after 2 years.
Orders
Attire For Hire Designer Hire reserves the right to charge the full RRP for any stolen, unreturned or irreparably damaged garment.
If a garment is repairable, customers will be charged the repair cost. If the damage prevents a back to back hire from going ahead, the customer is also liable for lost hire fees.
Try on appointment fees apply:
$15 per person for a standard 30 minute appointment.
This fee is charged to the card on file if no booking is made at the appointment. It is non refundable.
A $30 no show or late cancellation fee applies if cancelled under 24 hours.
Customers must take care to avoid makeup, perfume, drinks or fake tan stains. If a stain prevents the garment from being rehired, additional fees apply.
Attire For Hire reserves the right to charge late fees or replacement fees for garments not returned on time. Lost or stolen items will be charged at full RRP.
All customers hiring via the website agree to receive marketing emails, with the option to unsubscribe at any time.
Garments are thoroughly checked in store and by a third party dry cleaner. Faults or postage fees are non refundable.
